NEW YORK/LONDON, 30 January 2008 – The National Outsourcing Association (NOA) has predicted that the global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) market will be worth $323.6 billion by 2011, with North America commanding the lion’s share of the sector, spending up to $186.5 billion (57.6% of global spend) by 2011.

BPO in North America is steadily on the rise – the NOA estimates market size has increased from $119.7 billion in 2006 to $127.5 billion in 2007.  A key driver of this growth in North America is the wealth management sector, which has seen rapid uptake of outsourcing services in key new sectors including Document Process Outsourcing (DPO).

Williams Lea, a leading provider of corporate information solutions, works with a number of the financial institutions ranked in the FTSE 100 and was recently ranked first place for Document Process Outsourcing (DPO) in the 2007 report of US industry watchdog Brown-Wilson Group.

BPO is an increasingly popular solution for by companies that need to streamline their corporate information solutions,” said Justin Barton, president and chief operating officer of Williams Lea North America.   “It enhances the way a business can manage, share and communicate printed material, which in turn improves customer experience and realises significant cost savings – essential factors in driving a company’s growth.”

“The Brown-Wilson Group measures client satisfaction in its annual independent survey, so we are delighted at their recognition of the calibre of the DPO service that Williams Lea offers,” commented Barton.  “Williams Leas has developed a dynamic BPO model that focuses on continuous business improvement for our customers.  We don’t just provide a product or service for our clients; we are committed to forming a lasting partnership with them.”.

A Williams Lea client in the Wealth Management sector said:  “With the help of Williams Lea, we have outsourced a number of our business processes, such as our management of printed materials.  In only a short amount of time, we are already tracking dramatic improvements in internal efficiencies and, most importantly, to our customer satisfaction and bottom line.  Our staff have also benefited, as their time has been freed up from general admin, to enable them to be more productive throughout the day.”

DPO typically spans the management of document receipts, document and data capture, content storage, management, workflow management and reporting.   When building a bespoke DPO solution Williams Lea evaluates an organization’s specific issues and challenges – from structure, to culture, to business objectives, to the technology that they use, markets they operate in and its competitors.  This ensures key business objectives are met efficiently and effectively, while their extensive global network provides a real procurement advantage through economies of scale, to clients who are often global in scope.
